Summary Eastern culture clashes with Western values when an Indian father uproots his family and relocates to Canada. The move causes the lives and relationships of the close Hindu family to be torn apart by greed and ambition. As the family assimilates into a new society that contradicts much of the culture they have grown up with, they struggle to hold on to the meaningful teachings of their past. Throughout their emotional journey, can they ever become a loving, caring, whole family again?
