Summary Wildlife cameraman Gordon Buchanan joins three different indigenous tribes, each with a unique understanding of an iconic animal. In order to get closer to the animals, Gordon must earn the trust and respect of the tribe. He meets the San Bushmen of the Kalahari to find out more about lions, the Huorani Indians of Ecuador as they search for the giant green anaconda and the Sepik River people of Papua New Guinea who claim to be able to hunt crocodile with their bare hands. These unique people have the potential to revolutionise our understanding of these animals. But joining them is one of the most dangerous things Gordon will ever do.
