Summary |
Dr. Paul Hamilton is a brilliant astrophysicist and university lecturer who has made a cataclysmic discovery. The sun is set to explode, bringing about the end of civilization. Paul is given the opportunity to leave London - along with his depressing life, boring job and irratating girlfriend. He is offered a job and new life at the Royal Australian Observatory. In addition to having to adjust to the local climate and culture, he finds he has to cope with the eccentricities of his new colleagues. Now, the team of fellow scientists have to race against time to stop his predictions of apocalypse from coming true. |
