Summary |
"Discusses the fact that sports-related concussion is a prevalent injury among collegiate athletes that has been studies extensively. On the other hand, as the DVD points out, one area that has not received much attention from researchers is the effect of a concussion on the health-related quality of life of these athletes. In fact, athletes who self-report a history of three or more concussions exhibit significantly lower scores on health-related, quality-of-life measures than athletes with fewer or no concussions"--Container. |
