Summary A series investigating the downfall of Ancient Egypt during the Old Kingdom and the rise and fall of Angkor's Kingdom in Cambodia. What chain of events and long-term processes have contributed to their downfall until their final collapse? Each film unfolds as a series of enigmas being gradually resolved by the new evidence brought to light.
